OK, so I'll be running

Duo Core e6300
kingston 2 gb ram 667mhz
xfx 8600gt xxx 256mb
320gb seagate HD

and i want to buy either the:

Asus P5B-VM SE

or

Gigabyte GA-965-P-S3

I've browsed a few threads in here that suggested going with the DS3 over the S3, but I won't be overclocking anything for the most part, so I'm not concerned about stability for those functions--if that's what it insures.... the price difference between the 2 is about $20, but i'm teetering on my spending limit. i dont think i would do it unless there were serious concerns about the S3.

is my logic justified? ...

ok cool... i have another question. On the Gigabyte website it says:

"Due to add GIGABYTE SATA2(Jmicron363) chip on board, the model can be able to support NCQ (Native Command Queuing) and HOT Plug."

(For model GA-965-P-S3)

the hardrive i happen to be getting is a seagate with NCQ. Now does this mean i cant use the HD altogether, or it's just the feature that i wont have?

oops...i didnt read that right! it says CAN and not CAN'T...

my bad
