"corrupted" zip disc containing all my papers for school.

I have used an Iomega 100 external zip disc for several years.

When I inserted one of the discs yesterday, it reads: "disc not formatted."
The disc is full of my papers, and I know formatting it would sacrifice all information. The second zip disc is fine.

I have gone as far as I can with Iomega, and have used four file retrieval
    types of rescue software. Nada.

I am running XP he with works 7.0 .wps. I have not found a software file rescue that goes above works 4.0.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Sandy
