Could you get the equivelent of 9 meg with a 3 meg connection?

  1. alright if you got 3 comps and hooked them up to ethernet with a 3meg connection could you get the equivelent of a 9 meg connection?

    No, each computer would share the connection based on need. Connection speed is independant of your computers and won't change. Unless you are using a cable connection. Then you may get lees speed because you are only gaurenteed to get up to your 3 megabits. It could be less depending on how many users are in your area.
