counterstrike source reloading...

whilst playing counterstrike source my screen will sometimes go completely black then kinda fade back on to the correct screen, and all my weapons will be as if i just picked them up (appear on the right hand side), but today it was doing this and jumping backwards? :S could any body suggest a problem or a soloution? thanks .topps.

Maybe an overheating CPU/GPU, drivers problem, possibly network lag (only if you're playing over the Internet), or a weak PSU?

i have a 550w psu, my gpu heat is 58
my cpu is 40-50
and i dont lag much my average ping is 5-20

That GPU temp... Is it the idle temp, or the load temp?

PING does not really mean anything, I could have 5ms all the time and still lag... Plus people can change their ping from the console pretty easily

Also yes, if your GPU heat 58 idle or when you play? If it's idle then that's pretty hot... Did you over clock it recently?

my gpu heat is always 52-62 :S even when idle but that '58' was wen i came off the game to check it..
