I think I've asked this before, but I can't find the thread. Can someone tell me what the max temp. is that my cpu (P4 3.06)and mother board should run? Someone gave me this info and a link, but I can't find it now. I've just downloaded "Intel Active Monitor" and don't know what to set the threshold limit at. All it shows is "Processor Zone" and "System Zone 1" which I assume is the cpu and motherboard. My specs are in my profile.

I would be careful about venturing above 60C, but you shouldn't have to worry with an Intel CPU.

I've just been playing the new Splinter Cell demo for about 30 min. The temp. was 54 when I quit, so I guess I'm okay then. Thanks.

    That seems a bit high...but it's a Gateway so I'm not surprised...
