CPU temperature alarm for A7N8X-E mobo

By satchmo

  1. How do I set alarms for critical CPU temperature? I want it to alarm when the temperature hits 60 Celsius and shuts down the PC when the temperature hits 70 Celsius.

Is it through a BIOS setting?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the BIOS. Maybe, take a look. However, if you have the CPU monitoring utility software that came with your motherboard, you should be able to set it there. If you don't have the utility/driver cd or if you got an OEM, you should be able to download it from the manufacturer's website.
