I'd like to see what kind of temps people get with athlon xp cpu's primarily the 2000+ because thats what I have and I think my temps are way high. I get 44C at idle and I've seen my temp hit 51C on full load. Thats with a case temp of 32-33C and the cpu fan spinning at 3000rpm.

even though i have the 1900+ mine is 34 at idle and 42 when used but that's probably just bc there is an AC vent pointed on the inside of my comp

Winter/Spring:

36 idle - 40 load

Summer:

46 idle - 62 load

My room is A/Ced sometimes, and it gets around 110 here in the summer. o.O

I get around 50-52C load. sub-45 idle.

Usually my case is around 20-28C.

Athlon XP 2100+ Palomino, low-end CoolerMaster HSF (DP5-7H53F)

50C idle with XP1600+. I'm not worried. What I'm worried about is one of the heatsinks on my powersupply; it will burn you. I recently slowed down the PS fan because of noise, but I want to add an extra fan blowing directly on the heatsink.

xp2000

I just built a rig for my son and I'm getting all the way up to 56 under a load. I've got 7 fans on it too.

2000+ temps

with my tower in the corner with no ac it runs around temps of 37 c for tower an 39 c for cpu at idle an a cpu temp of around 41c runnin a load with the 3 tower fans an cpu fan going 1 fan in front suckin air in while 2 are in the back pullin the hot air out keeps it pretty stable for now till i start to mess with the over clockin then we'll see how it goes

Your temps are decent. I have mine overclocked to the equivelant of an Athlon 2000+... I get the same temps as you pretty much.

That's with an SK-6 copper heatsink and a low-rpm (2400) fan.

My XP 2400

CPU: I get 35.56c (96f)
Motherboard: Is 23.89c (75f)

House temp: 23.89c (75f)

But my case has (5) 80x80mm Case Fans (2 front/1 side/2 rear)
and a System Blower. Oh and a Hard Drive cooler and my Ram cooler with fan comes in this week. :D
