  1. Hello All,
I have had this player for a year but rarely used it. Recently, the hard drive on my PC became full and I decided to store all my music on the Zen Extra, so I began to transfer all my mp3 and wma files. After a couple of hundred files had been transferred successfully, I began getting the same error message: "Player is not connected or busy. Please try again later." I have installed the latest Creative MediaSource organizer/player software, as well as the latest firmware on the player. Still, the files will not transfer to the player, and I'm still getting the same message. The organizer shows that I still have 28GB of free space on the player. I appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance.

i'd say that your post would have been more appropriate in the 'other hardware' forum...

are you sure the zen's harddrive hasn't crapped out on you?

I knew it was not a hardware problem because the player can play the songs fine. It just wouldn't accept any new songs. Also, I was able to download an upgrade of the operating system without problems. I finally contacted Creative Lab via email and was advised to perform a scan on the Zen Extra player and rebooted. That solved the problem. Thank you all for the input.
