creative mediasource does not recognize CD writer

    Hi,

    i use the creative mediasource software that is delivered with my audigy 2 zs platinum pro sound blaster. But i can not write CDs because the writer (DVD/CD rewriter) is not recognized.
    The option to select a writer is gray in the form of the settings, so this software does not know that there is a CD writer in my pc (DELL 4600 multimedia pc).
    With the other programs like windows media player and recordNow, it is no problem to write CDs.
    Is there somebody who knows how to solve this problem?

    go to creatives website for that software and see if your DVD/Cd Writer is supported by the program if not then you are going to have to wait until they update the software to support it.

    they might even allready have an update available.
