CrossFire... can anyone help me

I just bought a new setup, and installed it in my case..

as listed
MSI K9A platnum crossfire edition
AMD Socket AM2 x2 5600+
Antec truepower 650W power supply
Dual ATIX1950Pro's (crossfire edition)
OCZ Dual Chan. DDR2 Memmory (1GBX2)

I reinstalled my copy of windows xp pro and all the drivers. but when I instaled the drivers for the video cards i.e. catalys windows would not boot, except for in safe mode.

should I boot in Safe mode and uninstall the drivers??? and then try again?

yes make sure you have the right drivers, many problems can occur from not setting up crossfire installs correctly. GL
