hello everyone, i know that a thread like this has probably been posted already, but i've looked and looked and can't figure out how to fix this. This started just a few days ago when downloading a patch for a game. Aparrantly one of the files was spyware, adware, malware, i dont know exactly. What I do know is that it is preventing me from accessing task manager. Ctrl Alt Del no longer bring it up and when typing taskmgr on the run box a warning pops up letting me know task manager is being used by another program.
I was running spybot search and destroy last night, and also McAfee but nothing. Spybot is able to find a lot of files but is unable to fix some of them. If I run spybot again after it has supposedly fixed this problems, the problems have already returned. does anyone have any idea on how to get rid of this thing?
