D-Link Wireless Card

    I have a wireless network running in my home. My one laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600. I installed the card and it was working for a bit and then the machine began locking up. I updated the BIOS and reinstalled. It still did not work. I then installed a card from another one of my laptops and it worked. I installed the other in my machine and it did not work. The card was dead. I heard that some laptops could "Kill" a wireless card if it is not compatible. This laptop appears to be compatible from all that is listed. Any suggestions about this? I am currently in contact VIA email with D-Link support..but you know how that goes :)
