Defragment not working?

  1. triggert Newcomer, in training

    Its been a while since I defragmented my harddrives and I noticed some slowing down lately so I thought I'd give it a go. Only problem is, whenever I click on Analzye or Defragment it does nothing! I'm running XP SP2, are there any services that need to be enabled to run Defragment?

    Do u mean it doesnt noting as in doesnt even come up... Because if it just sits there at 1% for hours, thats what its meant 2 do. Defragging takes 4eva 2 complete. Its best 2 just leave it for like a day and come back l8er.
