    Hi There
I have taken ages to work out how to include Word Count on the standard toolbar from the All Commands menu. However it is now on the toolbar twice and try as I might I cannot remove one of the entries. I can highlight one entry and click delete and it goes away but the next time I open a word doc both icons reappear. Can anyone help.
    Many thanks

What "Standard Toolbar" are you talking about?

    Sorry, not enough info

I am using Windows XP and Office 2000 - the toolbar at the top of the screen when I go into Word 2000 to write a letter or something

    Ok JJM,
very good. now I know what you're talking about. I use Office 2000 Pro on XP Pro, SP2. I find Word Count under Tools. Where is the All Commands menu found?

Add or remove button - drop down arrow
(this shows long list of options with 2x word count greyed out)
customise/commands/all commands - then on the right hand menu - tools wordcount
