dell desktop keyboard acts like vi or other os

  1. hey guys
    my partner is running a transmission shop with a dell
    desktop 2.3gb 512mb xp home
    sorry had all info but lost
    mitchell on demand is about the only app he runs


    when u type it's like your using a differnt os
    i have a shell acount when i use vi (editor ) it 's kinda like that
    on his keys 1234 are 1234
    but 567890 are letters
    q=5
    w=6
    a=7
    s=8
    z=9
    x=0
    and so on

    oh yea and when u use shift it works to cap the wrong letter

    anyways the problem seems familiar
    any imput would be greatly appreciated


    (where is that spell chekcr)
