    hey well im new to this stuff and I have a question...

    I'm about to buy a Azenram 512 MB DDR PC3200 RAM, the guy told me that ram always degrades itself to be compatible with my system.... my ram I have now in my pc is a 256mb PC2700 ram stick...so will the Azenram 512mb PC3200 ram stick work in my system?

    if your system supports PC3200 and you have PC2700 in it now, then the PC3200 you add will run at the speed of the PC2700.

    but the thing is I dont know if my pc supports pc3200....the guy told me it does...but I just wanna make sure..

    Hi

    While one can never be sure that certain memory will run ok in a certain system, usualy 3200 runs just fine at 2700 or lower speeds.
