Dell Optiplex 7010 motherboard

The connections are more dependent on the motherboard than the case and different motherboards may have different layouts. The motherboard manual will give you the pin layout. Many motherboards label the pins but the print is so small it isn't easy to follow.

Do you have the motherboard manual it is the la0531 e93839 motherboard ? or do you know where I can found the tech/electrical manual?

It's not clear to me what motherboard you have. Is it from the Dell Optiplex 7010? If so, did you look at the pictures near the top if this thread?

I don't know if this will help, but I've got this MB. I've over come the power switch issue by pulling off the plastic latch surrounding the pins. It comes off with just a little tug. The pin out is fairly simple after that. One issue you may run into after that is the BIOS telling you there is a fault with the power switch. Simply hit F1 and bypass that, should start right up. Might wanna go into the BIOS [F2] and select legacy startup. As far as the front panel USB you're gonna end up buying the Dell cables, might as well bite that bullet. I've run a gtx 460 and a 650 on the board with no issues.

I can't find a "legacy startup" setting in my BIOS (version A18). Can you be specific as to where it is?
I have my system booting & the powerbutton LED works but I get a lengthy delay each boot & I have to be at the computer to hit F1.

Hello,
I had a dell optiplex 7010 (service tag# 3LLBSW1) computer.
I took the motherboard out of this computer and installed it into a new ATX case.
all went well now I 'm having problems connecting the front panel audio, power switch, reset switch, & HD LED)

the dell connector is different than the cables I got on the new case. can anyone please help me to figure out how to plug these cables into the motherboard.

thanks
Hi there Jaybird34 I have a dell optiplex 7010 too and want to find a bigger case to get a better graphics card. What ATX case did you get and did you say the 7010 motherboard fits in that case?

Sorry to bother anyone with this super old problem, but I have the dell optiplex 7010 MidTower model, the same as the original creator of the post, and I need help with the pin configuration for the HD Audio. If anyone knows, or can help me, that'll be awesome.

Jaybird34 can you post the phpto of where you connectes the Pin things please? I also have the same problem and I have the same case as you. (The Antec 900 Case.) Please and thank you!
