    Hi there,
This problem began near last Christmas (2006) when I connected my ethernet Cable to my Dimension E520! After I restarted my PC and tried to go on the Internet again it worked fine! However I've had many antics with this error including:

*Unable to install games that use InstallShield

*Having limited time on my PC before it crashes 1 hour approx

*Any major changes e.g: System Restore causes it to crash

*Limited to only one profile on my PC

I've tried looking for help on websites! Searching for Updates!

    I've found nothing!

    Please Help me fellow Techspotters

If you need any specific Info please notify me and I'll update ya
    Regards
    Ginja Ninga

Do you mean that when you try to do one of the above a Blue Screen error is displayed with information you mentioned?

Why not save your data, and then reformat and reinstall using the maroon Dell recovery disc? Much easier and safer in the long run than trying to piece it back together..

wii-ste: Yes I mean the Blue Screen Error

raybay: Where do I get the Maroon Recovery Disc?

lf Dell did not send you a set of three to five discs for recover, then you have a right to a set. Be sure your computer service tag is registered to you, by checking online, then call tech support and they will send you the disks, or go to http://support.dell.com/support/top...ackupcd_form?c=us&l=en&s=gen&redirect=1#en#us
Each computer gets one set, but they can easily be persuaded to send you one more set... no more.

If the computer is not in your name at Dell, register it in your name, before you ask for the discs, then wait three days.
