    This seems a simple question, how do I create a Desktop Icon for My Pictures?, I have opened My Pictures, but can't see how to create an icon from there, I feel that I'm missing something that's right in front of my eyes!! [I have been known to do this,....doh!]

    You want a shortcut to your "My Pictures" folder to appear on your desktop?

    Open My Documents, right click and drag the "My Pictures" folder to the dektop. In the popup menu select "Create shortcut.."
