Deus Ex is jumpy in full screen mode

I am thinking about getting the full version of Deus Ex, but I have a problem with the demo, the opening menu is jumpy to the point that the mouse is almost impossible to opperate untill I manage to get it into windowed mode. Unless I'm horribly mistaken my specs far excede the system requirments. I would really like to know how to fix this before I get the game, or will this even be an issue in the full (patched) version?

Do you mean Deus Ex, Invisible War? If so, it appears your graphics card is not supported. If you mean, the original Deus Ex, never mind.

Ya, I'm talking about the origional, my system isn't even near the specs for Invisible War.
