My mobo is a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D

I recently tried to use the infrared function of my cell phone and I realized that in my device manager there is an item called "Infrared Devices" and that opens
up to "Built-in Infrared Device". Now I'm wondering does my mobo ACTUALLY have a built-in infrared device or does it not?

In BIOS, there is an option in the "peripherals" section (don't remember the exact name of the section, lol) called "Onboard Infrared Device" and the options are "Auto" and "Disable" so I'm guessing that there IS a device in my computer? If there is, could anyone try to find where on the board this might be? I've tried googling w/ no luck.

I'm really desparate to transfer some pictures from my phone to my computer but i cannot find my usb data cable so this is my only choice.

I think your board has a built in IR header, but no actual IR reciever. It is probably an optional accessory.

I don't know where you'd get the IR reciever though.
