DHCP keeps disconnecting?

I have 3 computers and the problem is on all 3 with the DHCP disconnecting randomly, can anyone please tell me what is causing this to happen and how to fix it??? I believe it all started when I switched from my Netgear R6200 router to an Optimum router using the same SSID and password as the Netgear routers. Should I have changed the SSID and password or is this not an issue with this problem??

DHCP can't disconnect as it never really connects - - it responds to a request and that's all. The disconnect is occurring between your router and the systems.

1. make sure the new router is running on the latest firmware
2. set the MTU in the router to 1492
