didnot find HD Drivers

I got this error when i tried to install winXP
"Setup didnot find any Harddisk drivers installed in your computer"
how do i solve this problem
I have FUJITSU SIEMENS laptop Centrino DUO

can you get into bios by pressing f10, esc, del or f2 at boot time? does the hard disk show up in bios?

When I press f2 yes I got bios setup and have HDD
This is the problem
The HDD is working properly it stores data but when I want to change the OS there is a problem by the way when I tried by XP Home Edition SP2 it works but this is not what I want I want to install XP other Edition like XP2006 pro. When I do this there is an error

what exactly is the error? let me get this right. you have xp-home, and you want to install xp-pro? right?

YES you are right I have home Edition But it is not in English edition that why I want to format and install XP pro sp2.
OK this is the ERROR
"Setup did not find anyHDDdrives installed in your computer. Make sure any HDD drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer,and that any disk related hardware configation is correct.This may involve running a manufacture supplied diagnostic or setup program.
press F3 to quit"

ok, do this:
get a win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com
start the pc with 98 boot disk and choose cd-rom support
do an fdisk command
delete any partition on the hdd
create partition
format the hdd
start pc again with 98 disk in and cd-rom support
put xp disk in
navigate to I386 directory on the cd
run winnt.exe to start xp install process.
or just stop after the format and insert the xp cd to install xp.
