  1. I recently upgraded to a new motherboard and I noticed that I can now use PC3200 ram... I already have 3 sticks (3x512MB) of PC2100 RAM. My question is: if I buy a stick of PC3200 RAM will that stick of ram automatically slow down to match the PC2100 RAM or will I have one stick of ram that is simply faster? Or will they not work together at all?

    Thanks for the help!!

They will all work at the speed of your slowest stick.

Just the answer I was looking for thanks.

Is the speed difference from 2100 to 3200 (is there faster?) worth it?

Depends on your system. Please fill in your profile and enter what your computer has.
