Digital Camera/SD Card

  1. I want to add some files to an SD card. They are not picture files. If a digital camera has a spot for USB, can I plug it into my USB port to add files to an SD Card, or do I have to buy a USB SD Card reader? Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure that will work.
I will always use "My Computer" and open the camera from there
Then I open the internal SD folder, to drag the pictures out.
So I'm positive it works the other way too. (Actually I'll check)

    Yep Worked

as above, if your camera supports that function (of being a card reader) via special software or windows, then it will work.

If it doesn't just go down to the nearest tech shop and get yourself a cheap $15 card reader..

if your camera allows you to upload, then just plug it into your usb, if not, you will need an SD card reader to push/pull files.

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately, I couldn't connect the digital camera to my computer (it wasn't my camera, and I didn't have the right USB cord). I'm just going to buy a USB SD Card Reader. Again, thanks for the help!
