  1. When I go to Run>>>>Dxdiag it works ok but when I get to the Test Direct Draw and test Direct 3D the Direct Draw work ok but when I do the test on the Direct 3D it starts ok and I get the Direct cube floating and then the screen goes black and returns to the desktop with an error message.......Why does it not continue to do the other 6 tests? How can I fix this? I have the latest drivers for my sound and video card. What is the reason it happens?

A bit more information about your computer & OS wouldn't hurt.

You probably need (another version of) Detonator drivers.

Different versions of them can be found easily from Guru3D's Download Section.
