Damn it! I have just downloaded DX 9 and what happens when i try and run 3DMark 2001SE? I claims that DX8.1 isnt installed, which it isnt. But shudnt DX9 be backwardly compatable with DX8.1 progs? and if NOT, does anyone know if there is going to be a 3DMark 2003? using DX9 technology - cus i want to try out my new XP2100+ but unless i find a away of downgrading to DX8.1 i can.
    Oh well

I'm not sure what your problem is, but I'm running direct x 9.0 and have no problems runnning 3dmark

It seems you've got an old version of 3dmark...
Futuremark released a "Build 330" which supports DX9...

Just go to Futuremark and download the latest version...

As for 3dmark 2003, it's supposed to be ready Real Soon Now......

:dead: That's quite a bottleneck there. Just ask agissi, who was going to buy an XP 2100+ and some PC133.

it is a bottleneck - a big bottleneck - the prob is for a nice motherboard (nforce 2) and some fast ram (333 or 400) it is £200 which will take me 6 months to earn.....in 6 months time....
