Direct X file missing

  1. Hello guys...

    i installed the latest direct x version for win xp but after installation i run direct x diagnostic tool here i see one of the direct x files is missing.The file is named d3dim.dll i have uploaded the image.I have also try to reinstall direct x but it says direct x is up to date.Can any one help solving this problem....

    Did you do a Search on your comp for it?

    yeah i searched but still no results.File not found...

    When you installed Directx has the setup completed succcesfully?

    For future reference, if 'hide protected operating system files' is unchecked, the DX dll's will show that are stored in the C:\Windows\System32\dllcache folder.

    It may have already been there.

    Or not.

    :)
