DirectX 9.0c problems.. No drivers?

  1. I have a problem with DirectX 9.0c. 4 months ago i had the normal sims as well as the sims two with most of the expension packs. After returning home after 4 months i reinstall my computer and also sims two and i also get the DirectX 9.0c message. So this is the information I found when i opened DxDiag

    When you say you reinstalled your computer, do you mean you reinstalled Windows? If so, it appears that you did not reinstall any drivers: chipset, graphics card, etc.

    I agree with mailpup, you haven't installed the video drivers. You're using currently the generic Windows driver, which does not support Direct3d 9.0c acceleration.

    What's your current video card?

    I would have to third that :D ! May I suggest that you download CPU-Z and when downloaded, click the cpuz.exe file, and go to the mainboard tab. Write down the make and model number, and we can help you find the drivers you need :) .
