I am trying to install Sims 2 on my computer and I keep getting "failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system". I have tried everything and I cannot get it to work, also I have looked at past threads but no one seemed to have the same card as I do on this computer.

Here is the computer and OS I am using along with the graphics card info:
Card name: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
    Manufacturer: (Standard display types)
    Chip type: NVIDIA

I am using a Toshiba Qosmio with Windows Vista 32bit.

Can I download a driver to support this? Please help!!!

It appears that you simply do not have an adequate or sophisticated video graphic adapter... This is a laptop that does not normally allow you to change the video graphics hardware...
The problem is likely due to the lack of appropriate drivers in VISTA... stay tuned.
