DirectX Diagnostic and Direct3D

hmmm, when i run dxdiag it seems to get stuck, so i click close, then when i reopen it says problem ith Direct3D

i have DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902) installed...
Geforce FX 5200 (would it support Dx9.0b?)

Any suggestions?

EDIT - i mean the progress bar bottom left, when i go to display and test direct3d all works fine (the test cube actually spins about 2-5x faster than it did 1 year ago, any clues there?), also all directx acceleration enabled.

All cards "support" DX 9.0b/c. However, they may not have hardware acceleration for the newer features.

Its always a good idea to use the latest DirectX version and the latest drivers - even recent Catalyst drivers have giving my archaic Radeon 7000 speed boosts, and the same was the same with Detanators (what are they called now?) on my even older TNT2

Definately go for DirectX 9.0c and the latest nVidia drivers.
