  1. I have a PC with an integrated video card, and a new video card lined up for it. How do I disable the integrated card and update the PC to recognize the new card?

Right click on My Computer => Manage => System Tools => Device Manager => Display Adapters => Right click on the Integrated card and choose Disable.

You can also do it on BIOS (by hitting Delete after the computer starts up), but I feel more convenient doing the other way.

k cool....then adding the new video card is as simple as inserting and updating the drivers?

Most of the time. Sometimes people still get into trouble, and if you're unlucky like that... keep asking!

Disabling onboard video is BEST done in BIOS.
