disconnected cable

I cannot view the tv on my computer because I disconnected the cable. But I do not know where to reconnect the cable. It has a single thin copper wire on the end. Before I came to you for help, I researched the internet, but I'm still not clear. The back of my computer is not easy to access by me. So I would appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Thank you for your patience.

How thin is thin? Presumably it has a plug on the end - there should probably only be one suitable place.

Not into TV, but I'm guessing it may be the aerial.

if it is the antenna, I still dont see where to connect on the back of the cimputer. Thanks.

Hi Berned,
Sounds like the cable has come apart from its own socket and left the plug end which should be attached to the cable still in the socket in the computer. It sounds like the antenna wire ,your gunna have to get a closer look at the back bern
