display problem

Hi there

hope someone can help,over the last few days my display has started to show columns of lines similar looking to barcodes in patches down the screen,also on startup i get the message that the ATI control panel has failed as there is no driver or it is not working properly.
I have a medion computer with a radeon 9800 graphics card

Best thing you can do is boot into safe mode,

Remove the ATi drivers using Driver Cleaner pro,

Then reboot and install official Cat 7.1 drivers,
