Does a Dell Dimension 2400 have the ability to have a pci slot radeon graphics card?

  1. Someone help me here my 2400 can't play great games like counter strike source and battlefield 2. So I'm wondering if a radeon ati graphics card will work with my system.

    Yes, you can install a PCI graphics card, however, be warned that these cards perform horribly, but you will be able to run CS Source.

    The best PCI graphics card I can remember of is
    GeForce FX5500 128MB PCI version.

    It will run CS Source and BF2, however, prepare for a slideshow (especially in BF2).

    Yup, a much better choice if you can afford it.

    It doesn't have to be that specific model, but it has to be a mobo in Micro ATX form.
    For about 120$ you can get a Radeon 9600 + a new mobo, which will provide you a substantial boost, much more than this FX 5500.
