i opened up my case and it said i had a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 motherboard.
I was wondering if my motherboard could take a 6600 PCI. How do i check?
I purchased this pc around 2 years ago.

I assume you mean a PCI-E graphics card since an Nvidia 6600 doesn't come in a PCI model. The answer is no, your motherboard supports AGP graphics cards. Nvidia 6600s come in AGP models, however.
