I made a rather long post earlier today and got no response, so let me try something a little simpler.

I do not have a DVD Player in my computer. Just a cd player. I have a 4 channel sound card (Aureal A3D Vortex) And I want to hear Dolby sound on my video games. How can I do this? Is it possible without a DVD Player? Do the games even support it?

Also, If It IS Possible to have full dolby 5.1 for these games, is there a small software app I can d/l that will TEST my dolby for me?
