Double Post Prevention

  1. Would it be possibly to implement double post prevention?

    Example:

    User A makes a post @ 10:30AM
User A makes another post (quoted someone else) @ 10:31AM

Now you have two rows from the same user, why not edit the post created by User A @ 10:30 and add the second post under it.

"Additional Post Added @ 10:31AM by User A"

The same system can be seen over at MMO-Champion.com.

    This prevents:

    • Double Posting by accident
    • Possible Post Count whoring
    • Spammers and what not

I had the notion that Xenforo included this by default. Apparently not?

Il test it here. I did double post earlier and it seemed not to merge the two posts.

    Edit: Yep, it didn't merge.
