  1. Any files that I download and try to install that are more then a real quick download say files are corrupted during unzip/unrar/install. I can download the same file on my wife's pc and open it or run it and it works fine. Any ideas what causes this? I am running Windows XP Pro with sp2. I have an AMD Ahtlon XP 1800+ (1.53Ghz), 1 GB of ram, GeForce4 Titanium 4200 128mb video card, 4 hard drives (40GB, 2 x 160GB & a 300GB). I am using a Gigabyte mobo. Any help is appreciated.

Corrupted downloads are usually caused by an interrupted connection.

That can be caused by spyware or bad modem.

As your a file sharer,we`re talking spyware here. ;)

Go HERE and folow the steps, then post the logs,in the Security forum.
