    Hi..

Sometime ago, i came across an article on the internet with instructions on downloading XP and all relevant fixes, patches, service packs etc from somewhere on the Microsoft website, then burning them all to a CD-R , and then using that to install Windows XP - all in 1 go; hence saving the trouble to download all relevant patches, fixes, SP2 etc etc after installation...

For the life of me i cant find it - anyone know whats it called, or where to look ??
    Thanks...

    Slip Streaming

It's called Slip Streaming. Several sites will have instructions including maximumpc.com, this site, probably, and many others I'm sure, like Tom's Hardware. Slip Streaming evolves due to better tools and more efficient methods, so I'd look for articles that have been updated/created recently. Good luck!

You can also use nLite which is quite handy.
