    I haven't found a practical one and it is annoying as heck. I recommend disabling it.

    Dr. Watson simply watches your system so if your experiencing lockups or problems you can open it up and see what is causing the problems.

    It's not meant to boost performance or anything like that, just a Microsoft diagnostic tool.

    Norton's all the way.

    Dr. Watson is a quack and should be sued for malpractice.

    Norton is a much better diagnostic tool and offers many more options.

    I agree that Dr. Watson is another product from Microsoft to help drive 3rd party companies into the ground, but hey its Microsoft, its what they do.

    I also agree that Norton is a much better alternative. I especially love their Antivirus program.
