Drive Image 7.0 update

  1. tvman Newcomer, in training

    I have Drive Image 7.0 and downloaded the update and created an image. How do I update the boot cd. I created an image with 7.03 and wanted to see if I could restore my drive. I booted the computer with my original Drive Image 7.0 cd but it didn't recognize the backups created with the 7.03 program.

    Welcome to Techspot!
    I suspect your update file came from Symantec.
    Powerquest sold out to them a couple of years ago.I do not like Symantec bloat so I never updated past 7.01a which I believe is Powerquest's last involvement in DI
    You have 2 choises
    Delete 7.03 and any back-ups made with it, and make new ones with ver 7,0
    Or keep 7.03 and see if Symantec has a new bootable disk with this version.
