Drop in different BIOS ????

My EpoxEP-8KTA+ mobo went south on me. As I am trying to build another computer to take with me when we separate (bummer) I must keep costs down. I purchased a used Chaintech 7AJA2 mobo, cpu, and memory combo on E-bay. I now believe in Christmas miracles as it booted right up (I always believed in Santa, hear that Santa!!!).
My question is : Can I just remove the BIOS chip from my Epox mobo and plug it into the Chaintech?
The Epox BIOS is more upto date and according to Chaintech's site was used on later revisions of this Chaintech board.

taking a bios chip from one makes board and dropping it into another makers board isnt a good Idea. and probably wont work. if they are at all compaitable then chaintech should have that bios revision available on their website. and yuo should be able to download it and flash update your current bios.
