I have an HT Omega Striker 7.1 card... and recently I noticed when there's lots of sound happening at once (IE, I have music playing while also playing an FPS), the volume will dip by 30-50% for a split second. Like I said, it only happens when there's a lot of 'sound' happening at once, so could it be something to do with sound channels or some such? I haven't the first idea when it comes to sound cards. >.>
I have played with all settings in the driver, and none remedy this issue. My Creative Audigy 2 never had this problem and cost a third of the price. Arr!
