Why the hell does Windows change the date modified attribute on files that were created prior to the time change?! It makes no sense, and it just messes a ton of crap up! Does anyone have an answer on how to avoid this? I have time sensitive data that when we hit standard time messed things up from daylight saving time by subtracting an hour!!!

What would happen if you unchecked the box for automatically adjusting for DST and just changed the time manually? Wouldn't all times on files stay the same then? Of course, unchecking the box will not help after the time change, only before, so it's too late now.
