Dtsoftbus.sys?

Hey guys, new member here.

So I have a stop error that is causing me some issues.
I recently upgraded from xp home edition to vista(32bit)premium edition.

I had a previous stop error but after updating drivers everything was going
well. Im fairly certain I updated all the necessary drivers such as my motherboard/bios, network, audio, and gfx card drivers.

however I either have a new stop error or the previous error never was fixed.
I didnt turn off auto reboots till after I updated my drivers so im not sure what
the previous stop error said.

anyway here is my stop error message that I wrote down:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP 0x000000d1 (0x9a9DA490, 0x00000002,0x00000008,0x9a9da490)
dtsoftbus.sys -address 9a9da490 base at 9a9ad000,datestamp 4d11d067
dtsoftbus.sys -address 9a9da490 base at 9a9ad000,datestamp 4d11d067

I also went to aumha.org before I bothered you guys here, and the d1 errors
listed there all involved windowsXP. So im alittle worried about my upgrade.

I built this computer myself, and with XP never had any issues
motherboard -- ASUS P5Q SE2
cpu --Intel Core2Quad q9550
4 Gigs of Ram
ati 4800 series gfx card

I have attached my two most recent dump files.

Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate any and all help

Thanks

Both errors are 0xD1 and these are usually caused by faulty drivers. In your case both files cited the driver dtsoftbus.sys as the culprit.

This is a Daemon Tools driver and quite honestly we have helped many people here who have issues with this software. Our first suggestion is to update to the latest version.

hmm im suprised i didnt find that out for myself,
i googled/searched that dtsoftbus.sys and
found nothing really..

anyway thanks for the help!

greatly appreciated
