Dual boot- (linux/XP), cannot boot xp

  1. Hey people
    I recently installed linux(ubuntu) on my computer, when you boot windows you get the usual windows XP loading page then a blue XP page sayin autochk missing, after that a BSOD for half a second then reboot.
    I can easily boot to linux (this is how iv posted this).
    I used partition magic to create a new partition to install linux
    Can somebody please help me.

    The only advice I could give you would be to reformat, install XP then install Ubuntu and use their setup to partition the drive. Don't use Partition Magic. I did it that way and it works fine and gives the the dual boot options after the computer posts.
