Had Windows 2000 on my pc. Put in a new HD and installed XP. I set them up as master/slave. However, when I boot only one OS appears. How do I "see" both. Thanks.

The computer will only boot to the drive that you tell it to boot to in the BIOS.

You can only get a dual boot menu if there are two OSs on the boot drive.

If you boot to the XP drive,it will boot XP.

Realize that...there ARE two OS's.....XP and 2K. At startup only one shows on my menu.

Sorry. It wasn`t clear from your question what you had done.I guessed wrong.

If you installed 2K AFTER XP ,you`ll have to repair XPs boot loader.See HERE

If you installed XP AFTER 2K. then it should see it,and there should be both OSs in XPs Boot.ini (msconfig/Boot.ini)

If it doesn`t see it,I don`t know what has happened.
