Hey Guys,

I am in the process of installing Windows Xp pro on 2 separate harddrives in my computer.

The only thing I'm not sure of is what to set the jumpers to on both harddrives. Can anyone help?

I want it set so that each drive "cannot" see each other once I boot up.

Thanks.

Jumpers will only let you assign a master or slave setting for IDE PATA hard drives, and maybe some other settings, but not what you want.

You should just install as normal, and then afterwards, go into the disk administrator (computer management tool) and then unassign a drive letter from the other system's partition. Then repeat for in the other system.

You do this by right clicking my computer, manage, dis administrator. Click on the partition and then select Change Drive letters and paths, and then remove the drive letter assignment, so that none remains. The drive will then not appear in explorer, my computer, nothing like that.
