Dual Channel Mem question

If I have 2 sticks of PC 3200 and 2 sticks of PC 2700 and I put them both in respective Dual channel slots on the mobo will the 2 sticks of PC 3200 auto clock down to 2700 frequency? Or will they stay the at PC 3200? I'm thinking they will downclock because if you have a stick of 3200 and one stick of 2700 the 3200 downclocks....

yes the the pc3200 will run at the pc2700 speed
